Dédougou: 101 tons of food and 10 million CFA francs for internally displaced persons
At Place Melon Gare in Dédougou, the EBOMAF Foundation hands over 101 tons of food, 10 million CFA francs and biomedical equipment to vulnerable populations and IDPs of the Boucle du Mouhoun region.

On 15 January 2023, under the theme "Access to food, a fundamental right for all," the EBOMAF Foundation gathered the populations of Dédougou, religious and traditional authorities, and representatives of internally displaced persons (IDPs) for an act of solidarity of exceptional scale.
The total donation comprises 87 tons of rice, 14 tons of corn flour, a 10 million CFA franc check and biomedical equipment for the Dédougou Regional Hospital Center. It was distributed among the beneficiaries: 42 tons and 5 million CFA francs for religious and traditional leaders; 51 tons and 4 million CFA francs for IDPs in the rural communes of Bourasso, Gassan, Sanaba and Douroula; 8 tons and 1 million CFA francs for the school canteen serving displaced students.
Salimata Bonkoungou, the Foundation's director general, emphasized that this handover "is part of the Foundation's humanitarian works." Babo Pierre Bassinga, governor of the Boucle du Mouhoun, praised the EBOMAF Group's "constant presence" alongside vulnerable populations.
For beneficiaries, this gesture is "a comfort" in a context where the security crisis weakens displaced families and host communities. The operation illustrates the Foundation's twofold action: humanitarian emergency response and structuring support for local health institutions.
